specifically about my current situation .. well, there isn't much to say .. i'm living the dream :k: .. low level of life... a lot of hard work, with no credit what so ever .. yet, i'm still hanging to my dreams .. hopefully, i'll get closer to them one day .. one thing that made me laugh, out of frustration the other day .. there was this guy, i was hanging a lot of hope on .. he seemed to be a great potential for a professor that might accept me .. and help me get my Ph.D. ..
when he replied to my email .. he plainly said: "thank you for your interest in my former work. In the meantime I have quit the scientific work and switched to photography" ... :mal5oom:
well, all i could've thinked was .. "ترك التدريس وفتح كشك سجاير" :*oh: anyway, he was a gentleman, he recommended few other names for me to contact, and well, i'm crossing finger while writing emails to those names .. i'll try to pass by more .. and try to comment you your blogs more .. please stay safe and happy.. life is too short for us to waste it on nothing ..
Oh, what a dream?! In my dictionary this can be either a nightmare or real life.
ReplyDeleteSo your "role model" quitted the whole scientific community and opened a cigarette kiosk... LOOOL, loved that. Easy, do PhD in the economy of cigarette kiosks with him. (By the way I am sure he is not an Arab to do this thing).
